For 23 years, Linnaea School proudly offered a rich programme of creative, nature-based, global and alternative learning for students at Linnaea School. The Linnaea School and Farm Boards have reluctantly come to the decision that projected enrollment levels for the next school year will not allow Linnaea School to operate as a publicly funded independent school for the 2010-2011 school year.

Linnaea Farm Society oversees the management of the projects and activities taking place on Linnaea Farm lands. Projects include organic farming activities and educational programmes. The Society's primary mandate is to protect of the Linnaea Farm land trust.
